CBSE has started offering students the option of a short-duration vocational module on Artificial Intelligence that lasts 12 hours per module at the middle school level (Class VI-VIII). This will allow students to learn about AI (a vocational skill) early on without overcrowding their schedule with non-vocational courses. Students can decide later whether they want to pursue AI at the Secondary and Senior Secondary levels.
