The demand for learning data science is crucial in today’s data-driven era. This curriculum strives to provide students with a solid data science and technology foundation, covering data collection, analysis, and ethical considerations and preparing them to apply data science in AI solutions. The goal is to ensure students are industry-ready in the face of escalating data challenges.
In light of these objectives, CBSE has introduced a ‘Data Science’ skill module, spanning 12 hours, for class VIII. Furthermore, it will be incorporated as a skill subject for students in classes IX-XII. This initiative aims to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of data science and contribute meaningfully to its applications.
